The main objectives of the course "Computer Architecture" are to train students in the following skills:
- knowledge of computer architecture and understanding the place and role of each architectural element;
- knowledge of internal organization, functioning of memories and types of memory;
- knowledge of the concepts of input port, output port and the principles of interface realization;
- use of methods and techniques for information reprezentation in the computer;
- the use of basic algorithms for addition, multiplication and division in computers;
- knowledge of the internal organization and functioning of ALU;
- design architectures and computer systems of low and medium complexity.
