Midterm Assignment #1
Description: Speech about any divisive topic currently debated in society of your choice.
Specifications:
- Submission format: video recording.
- Duration: 3-4 minutes.
- The video must have your face in the speech recording (not a still image).
- You can use video editing if you wish so, and add slides or any graphical materials to your video speech.
- All submissions sent after the deadline will start loosing points with no specifications how many (this is for the gamblers)
- Speech must be in English (this is kinda a default mandatory point that everyone knows about, but just to be extra sure.
- Submission must be a submitted via a downloadable link to video that must available at least 20 days. (ELSE platform doesn't allow to upload big files)
- Extended Deadline: Monday 2 November 22:00.
You have to remain neutral in terms of delivering the facts and address all sides of an argument.
The speech must have the following structure*:
- Introduction
- History / Data
- The Pro and Con side to the topic
- How it can be addressed/solved in your opinion
- Closing remarks
- History / Data
- The Pro and Con side to the topic
- How it can be addressed/solved in your opinion
- Closing remarks
*You can add extra points to the structure. You may not skip the listed above structure points.
